Why is there a church plant in Hanamaki?Because there is hardly any Christian influence in this city of 100,000 people. There are no Christian schools, nurseries, hospitals or other commonly seen examples of Christian influence. The few churches in the city have less members combined than you have fingers and toes.
If someone in Hanamaki was thinking about Jesus, where would they go?
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14)
Pray for this two year old church plant to shine like a city on a hill. Pray for perseverance from the missionaries in telling people the Gospel.
